The Option is to get your own discs through Shipit, but you got to be patient since it takes some time. There is a special team in India “Indian Ubuntu team” who are striving hard to spread Ubuntu in India. The Team is active all across India and there are a lot of local/regional teams that are functioning along with them. Here’s the Wiki for the CD Request.
If you would like to have one of those CDs, you could try contacting these Regional Teams. Here is a list of Regional team that are there for the promotion of Ubuntu. Each team has its own IRC Channel and you could request them for a CD. The other Ubuntu Support is #ubuntu-in which is the official IRC Channel for Indian Team.
