It is the universal day enjoyed by ever one of us with same spirit and fun. Some may celebrate with friends, family are with relatives. Most of the youngsters and newly married couple enjoy the day by getting engaged into hotel New Year’s Eve. Most us of will be awake till the clock strikes 12 and to welcome the New Year. The first film in India to be distributed by Warner Bros. India. The film Saas Bahu aur Sensex as such has not big stars and so has no hype before its release. The only big name attached with the film is that of Warner Bros. The Soundtrack of the album completely features a new type of album.

The first song in the album is composed by Randolph Correa “Abhi Abhi Jo Tu Aayi Hai” which has been sung by Jaaved Ali. Jaaved Ali is the same person who sung the song “Ek Din Teri Bahon Mein” in the bollywood film Naqaab. The song has little inspiration from various western theme musics. The music composer has used the lyrics by Raqeeb Alam at good places. Though the music is among the romantic types, the music director has made serious effort to give it a new feel.

The next song in the album is a rap song “Whats up India”. This is sung by Blaaze, the guy who sung for Sivaji. Personally, I liked him for the songs he had done on Sivaji and Bunty aur Babli.

The third in the album is composed by Randolph Correa “Mujh Mein Nigaah Daal De” and so has a completely western feel. This song is basically a mixture of music by various artists and doesn’t sound so good. I feel there were distortions in the music. The whole song might probably be used as a background music. The lyrics of this song has nothing to offer.

The next track is a panjabi one “Mithri Mithri”. This was brought in because the music company had a condition of having one panjabi song mandatorily. This song is no different from the usual panjabi song that are supported by the dhol beats. The lyrics for the track is by Shona Urvashi and Raqeeb Alam.

The next track is sung by Monica which is an english version of Nigaah daal de. Personally, I feel she sung better in English, its basically because of her accent which is more suitable for the western music.

The last track is a remix of Whats up India which sounds a little better than the original one.

I would rate the music of Saas Bahu aur Sensex: 1.5/5. There is one song really good and 1 or 2 good.

After the success of Baby One More Time in 1999, she was declared “the Reigning Princess of Pop”. And after the back to back success of “Baby One…” and “Oops… I Did It Again” is was clear that she was the hire of the legendary Madonna. 

After the successful launch of her third album “Britney” she got a lot of movie offers. Film didn’t click just the way music did, with her debut film Crossroads being received poorly. She even received the Razzie Awards for worst actress. 

But what marks her greatest high in her career is Forbes magazine ranking Britney as the world’s most powerful celebrity in 2002. 

With “In the Zone” (her fourth album) topping the charts, she had made a new record of being the first female artist to have all her albums at Number One.

After “In the Zone” Britney went through a lot of struggle in her personal life - marriages, divorce, babies etc. She took to releasing compilation albums with her hits.

During 2007, after a long break, she released her fifth album “Blackout” which was well received and it reached the number two spot in the charts. This was also due to the fact that it was elaked on the internet before its launch. She had finally transcended from being a teenage tart music artist to a sexually powerful woman. 

This September she announced the title of her 6th album ‘Circus’. The world waits in baited breath for December 2, 2008, Britney’s birthday and the release date of the album.
